When making this vogue dress, Jessica had in mind a vintage 1950's Marilyn Monroe style type of dress. She wanted a color that complimented her skin and hair color and picked this beautiful deep aqua blue satin fabric. |

After reading "Pride and Prejudice", Jessica wanted to make an outfit similar to the gowns the girls wore during that time. However, she didn't want it to be gown length, so that she could wear it out to dinner, or to a show. She wanted the top bodice, neckline, and sleeves to be of the style they wore. She trimmed part of the neckline, and bottom of the sleeves in a string of beautiful matching ribbon and gems.

One of the first historical things Jessica made was this antebellum skirt. She was inspired to make this after reading and watching "Gone with the Wind." |
If ever there was a contest on Harry Potter, Jessica would win by far. She has read every book, and usually finishes it in 2 days. (She doesn't sleep!) She made this entire outfit, including the books and wand, to be "Hermione" for Halloween. She wore it to the opening of the new book and many people ask to have their photo taken with her. |
![]() Jessica designed and made her gown to replicate the gown that Susan wore after reading and watching "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" by C. S. Lewis. She also made Jim's outfit and they wore it to the Pennsylvania's Renaissance Fair were they were photographed by many people.

Jessica bought a long sleeve sage green sweater at a vintage shop for $5.00. She cut it up, sewed it back together, and designed it into this perfect cute little halter top to go with jeans on a summers day. |

One of Jessica's biggest accomplishments was making her senior prom gown. Inspired by Natalie Portman in Star Wars II, she made a replica of the "Picnic Dress" Natalie wore in the fields when falling in love with Anakin Sky Walker. The actual color of the gown she made was true to the color shown on Natalie Portman, however the bright sunlight faded the photos. |

We certainly can't leave out Princess Leia. Here is Jessica (left) in her Princess Leia costume from Star Wars that she made for Halloween. (Also in photo some friends from school as a "1920's Flapper" and one of the "Ghost Busters.")
